Description: This is a Georgian Era Ring, dating from the late 1700s early 1800s. The stone is a rose cut diamond. The diamond is in a closed and foil backed setting. The foil backing appears to have been in contact with water and therefore has darkened on the underside. The side view of the diamond is fairly clean. The diamond has a span of 4.25 mm. Unfortunately, these Georgian era rings need special care and attention when it comes to cleaning or submerging in water. The ring is in otherwise very good condition for its age. It shows signs of wear yet no damage and it fairly thin.
