Item Description Gibson Original Collection ES-335 / 2021 (2021) Gibson Original Collection ES-335 / 2021 New series, original collection announced at NAMM SHOW 2019. This original collection is a lineup of Gibson that was newly established to break out of Gibson's dark period. ES-335 features more traditional specifications than the original collection. The classic semi-acoustic guitar that continues to fascinate many players, combining the traditional box sound and the extended sustain of a solid body. Since its release in 1958, it has established itself as a standard model used by many guitarists. We chose the traditional ES-335 material of a 3-layer laminate body of maple / poplar / maple, equipped with a maple center block, and a mahogany neck. The grip uses a C shape. The pickup, which is the key to the sound, is equipped with a "Calibrated T-Type" with a T-backer motif. This is a pickup that reproduces the specifications of the final period of stickered numbered, commonly known as T-Top, which was adopted from the late 60's to the 70's. Equipped with hand wiring & orange drop capacitor. The tailpiece uses die-cast aluminum, which is about 70 grams lighter than die-cast zinc, allowing string vibration energy to be transmitted straight to the body. The pegs are equipped with Vintage Deluxe w/ Keystone Buttons instead of Grover from the Memphis Factory era, and the use of resin type gives them a more vintage feel. It goes without saying that the standard model ES-335 has a great sound, but it is equipped with a new pickup called "T-Top", which gives it both the best looks and functionality!
