Description: Good Health by Griswold Vintage Cast Iron Skillet Set, Incl. #6, #7, #8. Restored. Good Health was one of the brands manufactured by Griswold for sale in stores such as Sears and Roebuck and Montgomery Ward. These skillets were produced in the late 1920s and throughout the 1930s. Griswold is the premiere name is collectible cast iron, and these brands were manufactured fully up to the standards of their branded ironware, but marked with distinctive names to be sold in stores. This set includes a #6 skillet (approx. 9 inch diameter), a #7 skillet (approx. 9.75 inch diameter) and a #8 skillet (approx. 10.5 inch diameter). Each pan has been stripped down to the bare iron and reseasoned using avocado oil, resulting in a like-new black (and vegan!) sheen. The non-stick properties of cast iron are enhanced with cooking - keep cooking with fat in your cast iron pan and in no time you'll have a fully non-stick skillet. All three pans sit flat and can be used on electric glass-top stoves as well as propane ranges. Cast iron is oven-proof and can be used to cook over open fires or on the grill. Famous for heating evenly and achieving non-stick properties without the use of chemicals, it is the creme de la creme of cooking vessels. And one pan will last a lifetime - these already 100 year old pans are good as new and are indestructible in the kitchen.
