Description: GORGEOUS ANTIQUE NEW ENGLAND GLASS COMPANY SCRAMBLED END OF DAY/MILLEFIORI PAPERWEIGHT We have the privilege of offering you this beautiful antique New England Glass Company, scrambled, end of day, millefiori, latticinio paperweight. Circa 1860 and measures 2 1/2" in diameter. Features bits of latticinio ribbons, opaque twists and a millefiori floret. These were also called, End of Day, as bits and pieces of unused canes and colored glass were used to make additional paperweights. The paperweight has a factory polished base.It is in beautiful condition showing some scattered light wear. The base has typical shelf wear with typical wear to the basal ring.This piece would look absolutely stunning in any setting. Would be a great addition for any paperweight collector.
