Description: This is a wonderful Antique, vintage homespun bolt of European hemp/linen. ~*~ This textile dates from around 1920-30 and is hand woven using both natural homespun hemp and natural cotton. This textile has a natural cotton weft and a heavy, homespun natural hemp warp! There are wonderful flecks of the hemp in this roll that gives it that unique, tone and rustic quality! ~ The stripe is a bright red woven triple stripe! ~ This textile was woven to produce heavy grain sacks. ~ This is an unused length of this gorgeous fabric ~*~ Wonderful dense weave. So much natural texture~ this fabric would be a feature in any room. ~*~ The texture is slightly coarse and stiff, and would lay well on a table, so this and would make a wonderfully decorative table runner. It would also be beautiful used as a light use stair runner, area rug, hall runner etc !~*~ because of the texture , I do not recommend machine washing this textile, and instead I recommend that it is dry cleaned ~ ~*~( EL115 ) MEASUREMENTS : I am selling this fabric by the yard, so each quantity will measure 1 yard long by 22 inches wide. To receive a longer, uncut length, simply increase the quantity and you will receive a longer, continuous, uncut length. For example, if you need 3 yards for your project, simply change the quantity to 3 and you will receive a length of fabric measuring 22 inches wide by 3 yards long. PLEASE NOTE : BECAUSE THESE BOLTS ARE ANTIQUE AND ONE OF A KIND UNIQUE, WE ARE NO LONGER ABLE TO ACCEPT RETURNS OF ANY PURCHASES OF LESS THAN 3 YARDS LONG. CONDITION : This gorgeous is in as found, unwashed condition. There are some small pale storage marks on this length, these marks will likely wash but they may not wash fully. There are long pale storage marks that run parallel to the stripe on this bolt that are probably due to the bolt being folded in half during storage at some point. ~ ~*~Condition reflected in the price. ~*~
