Description: SCHLAPPEN SADDLE HACKLE A classic must have Hackle for your tying needs. Long, webby fibers make these feathers ideal for trout, salmon, steelhead, bass and pike flies. Also ideal for many of your saltwater patterns. Rooster Schlappen is packaged 1/4 oz. per package. Packages vary as to the number of feathers but range from 55 to 75 in a pack. Note- Fl Orange is from Spirit River and Green is from Rumpf...these are slightly smaller packages but hard to find colors I strive to ship all orders that don't contain my hand-tied flies within 1 business day of receiving payment. Orders with my hand-tied flies. I tie all flies after payment is received.
