Description: History and Rhymes of the Lost Battalion by "Buck Private" McCollum WWI 1929. Presented Copy I stumbled on this slim volume several months after the A&E movie appeared in December 2001. The copy was printed in 1929. It contains several articles on the make-up of the 308th Infantry Regiment, a memorial address, a description of the key action, and numerous poems by Private Mccollum describing the experiences of the American Doughboy in Europe in 1918. Included are masterful illustrations by Franklin Sly and Thomas R. Reamer. This edition has seen some action and shows some wear but still a very desirable copy. Please see all pictures for condition. Thanks for looking and see my other listings for more military books π πΊπΈπΊπΈπΊπΈ
