Description: The Ed Heinemann-designed A-4 Skyhawk took flight in 1954. The aircraft was designed as a single-engine attack plane and proved highly efficient and lightweight. It is also known as one of the pioneers of air-to-air refueling. 2,960 Skyhawks were built, with the last retiring with the USMC in 1996. This diecast recreates the A-4F, flown by Blue Angels, the No.1 airplane from the US Navy, as seen in 1979. This 1/72 scale diecast model is 17.1cm long and has a wingspan of 12cm.
