"MARX WITHOUT MYTH" HAS A REMAINDER RED STAMP ON BOTTOM OF EXPOSED PAGE EDGES. THE HALF TITLE PAGE OF "MARX WITHOUT MYTH" HAS A STAMP WITH THE WORDS "TEXT 1/2", WHICH IS CONSISTENT WITH THE REMAINDER MARK ON THE BOTTOM, SUGGESTING HALF PRICE. THERE IS AGE RELATED PAPER TONING TO ALL BOOKS, SOME SOILING TO EXPOSED PAGE EDGES AND A FEW WITH CORNER BUMPS THAT EITHER AFFECT A FEW PAGES OR, AS IN THE CASE OF "KARL MARX BIOGRAPHICAL MEMOIRS", THE ENTIRE BOOK. THERE ARE TWO INSTANCES WHERE SOME PAINT RESIDUE IS ON THE EXPOSED PAGE EDGES ON THE LONG EDGE. THERE ARE A FEW PRICE LABELS. This is intended to give someone access to a large amount of theory on Marxism, as well as of his life and work, without breaking the bank. Below, I only mention condition issues that stand out to me as I have already mentioned above issues that affect all of the books. 1- DICTIONARY OF MARXIST THOUGHT- Cover crease lower right. There is no photo of the Contents because it pretty much reflects "Dictionary" and I won't waste a photo on that. 2- KARL MARX'S THEORY OF HISTORY; A DEFENCE by G.A Cohen. 369 pages. Of the 7 books, this is clearly in the best condition, with the price label on the cover being the only annoyance. (Photo 5 & 6) are the contents 3- MARX WITHOUT MYTH: A Chronological Study of his Life and Work: Maximilien Rubel and Margaret Manale. This has the remainder mark in red on the bottom and the "Text 1/2" mark on the half title page (Photo 10 & 11) 368 pages with paint residue on the exposed page edges. Not shown but similar enough to the paint shown in (Photo 8), and also a lower corner bump to rear cover and last 15 leaves 4- AN INTRODUCTION TO THE LOGIC OF MARXISM by George Novack. Contents page is (Photo 3). Light upper corner bump and light bump to bottom edge of front cover. 5- THE SOCIAL & POLITICAL THOUGHT OF KARL MARX by Shlomo Avineri. 269 pages. A portion of the Contents shown in (Photo 7) 6- KARL MARX BIOGRAPHICAL MEMOIRS Wilhelm Liebknecht. 181 pages. There is no Contents page. There is an upper corner bump to the first half of the book with paint residue on edges (Photo 8) 7- THE MARX HE KNEW by John Spargo. The only hardcover (Photo 2). 86 pages with wear through to the paper board corners. PLEASE USE ZOOM FUNCTION ON ALL PHOTOS. This is intended to give you as much bang for the buck as possible with one shipping cost and a generally single topic. marxdentubPLEASE NOTE: For book sales, I virtually always include a vinyl bag tightly wrapped on the exterior. This is an attempt to prevent any USPS employee from opening the package for inspection as it would be time consuming for them to repackage it. This is done simply because my packaging is done more carefully than their repackaging and also to protect the book from the elements. The vinyl bag covers cardboard protection and you can simply cut the bag open (carefully) and remove the contents. The cardboard protection is also typically held with tape and cutting in the obvious places will allow the cardboard to pop right open, exposing the book (in another protective vinyl bag). Using this method, you should be able to open any book I send in under a minute. No "buzz saw" is required. Thank you
