Description: Large Vintage Schrade Old Timer Uncle Henry Knife Display Case knives Large Display case for Schrade, Old Timer and Uncle Henry knives. Includes plenty of interior space for original boxes or extra knives. This case was damaged in shipping to me from the auction house where I bought it. The side panel where the clasp locks the case needs to be glued or stapled (it was originally stapled, I can see one sticking out yet). See photos 8, 9 and 10 for a look at the side panel area. The hinge at the bottom of the case where it folds open has a metal strip holding both halves together. This strip is partially detached (see photos). The strip has about 9 slots for screws to hold the two halves together. They only ever put in maybe three screws from the factory because there are NOT holes in the wood below each slot, thus they never put a screw in that space. You can screw in at least 6 new screws and that will 100% take care of that issue, making it far more secure than when it was originally assembled. The top of the case also shows some damage. The thin beauty strip at the top is detached as seen in photos 1 and 2. There is also a bit of chipping to the veneer where you see the two screws on each side at the top of the case. This will be about the only cosmetic issue left as the metal strip can be 100% fixed and the side wall/panel can be glued or stapled back together with minimal to no signs of damage. See pics to make your own assessment, but this is a fairly basic handyman fix for most people. Shipping would be prohibitive due to the size and the need to properly package it, so unless you really really want it, I would not suggest it. I can meet within the greater Cincinnati area or Zanesville area, say 60-80 miles. Please review all of the photos as they are part of the description. Photos will supersede any written descriptions in case I missed noting anything or made an error in what I did write, so please look closely and ask questions if in doubt.
