Description: Beautiful looking and bright sounding Al Hirt Signature Trumpet (707A)Vintage LeBlanc silver plated trumpet showing very little plating wear. The 707A is the Al Hirt signature model that is a large bore (.468) model that was a popular LeBlanc model of this era. It has nickel-silver inner slide tubes. Valve compression is excellent. Beneath the serial number (17413) on the 2nd valve it says "MADE IN FRANCE". The model "AL HIRT SPECIAL" can be found on the lead pipe. "G. LEBLANC PARIS" is engraved on the bell. On the side of the bell there is a script "Al Hirt" signature. There is beautiful scroll work all the way around the edge of the keys and valve caps both on the top and bottom. There is also scrolling on all of the slides. The medallion on the tuning slide brace has the likeness of Al Hirt.Professionally cleaned and serviced recently, plays beautifullyTake your music to the next level and be ready for a lot of compliments on this amazing horn.
