Description: This 10.5"x14" hardcover contains 12 vintage issues of Life Magazine dating from October through December, 1954. The December 20 issue features cover and interior "space art" by Chesley Bonestell. Dorothy Dandridge is on another cover (this issue often sells by itself for around $20), and the December 6 cover illustration was later used for a famous psychedelic poster by the 13th Floor Elevators. They range from acceptable to good condition. The volume is ex-library with a few library marks and attachments. The covers typically have address labels, rubbing, some have tears and creases. One page is loose and heavily torn at the side. There are library stamps to the top, bottom and side of the text block. The front cover is a bit curved. The red buckram library binding has various scratches and spots, a sticker on the spine, sticker residue at front top, couple holes to the spine. A few pages have bent corners. There are over 2,000 pages - we can't guarantee they're all present. Please see our other items where more bound volumes of Life Magazine may still be available. Unfortunately magazines don't qualify for media mail.
