Description: Sweetest little girl doll dating from most likely the 1920s-early ‘30s. She’s an American Character doll with embossed stamp on her back. Her clothes are original, dress/matching bonnet and under garment. The dress has the original tag “Petite” brand. Her face is absolutely gorgeous, with hand painted details, eyes open and close as they should. I think that her hair is Mohair. It’s close-cropped in a 1920s-style bob. Her cloth body has some age spots as shown, her shoes have some separation with the soles happening, and her dress has a small tear at back, also as shown. Fingers and toes are all accounted for. Shed’s in great condition considering her age. Hard not to fall in love with her. I have. I measure her at approximately 20” tall, but I could be off an inch either way. I
