Description: Maxfield Parrish's Iconic "Dutch Boy" Colgate Ad for Cashmere Bouquet Toilet Soap. It is the back cover of the "full magazine": the February, 1904, issue of 'The Ladies Home Journal'. The edges are rough on both sides, with edge tearing on both sides of the the front and 3 - 1/2" tears in the back cover. There is moderate scuff discoloration. There is no tearing into the image. It would look quite good properly trimmed and framed. It measures 16" x 11 1/4". It is 116 Years old. Included are feature articles and 100's of black & white ads (some quite entertaining).
