Vintage class rings don't get much nicer and there isn't a much better pedigree for this period in time than dor University of Maryland. 1955 The terrapin Football team went undefeated and was co-champs of the ACC. They lost to Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl. This ring belonged to my stepdad. He graduated in 1955 with a military Science degree, and went to be a Officer & Pilot in the USS Air Force. He flew in Vietnam, and Korea. It is inscribed with his initials AFS. The red stone is monogrammed with his fraternity Sigma Chi.
