Description: Mervyns California Missions Series Vintage Santa Cruz NO CROSS History: Mission Santa Cruz, named for The Holy Cross, was established on August 28, 1791. Twelfth of the 21 California missions, Santa Cruz was built under the direction of Father Fermin Lasuen. Mission Santa Cruz grew to include a total of 32 buildings in 1834. Today, only a portion of one of those structures still stands. Pre-owned, the cross is missing and the box has wear. The replacement light cord has an in-line on/off switch.
