Description: Mervyns California Missions Series Vintage Santa Ines NO CROSS History: Mission Santa Ines, named for Saint Agnes, was established September 17th, 1804. Nineteenth of the 21 California missions, Santa Ines was built under the direction of Father Estevan Tapis. Father Tapis became president of the California Missions in 1903, following Father Lasuen's death. Mission Santa Ines was blessed with fertile lands, excellent for crops and grazing. Pre-owned, the cross is missing and the box has wear. The replacement light cord has an in-line on/off switch. There is a chip on the corner and a small spot where the paint was missed.
