Description: I believe that this lens was purchased in 1988 (original sales receipt included), taken home and put on a shelf, where it sat for 35+ years, where I found it with the receipt tucked into the box. There are NO signs of use at all! The glass is perfect, NO dust, NO fungus, NO scratches, nothing. The blue foam sleeve to protect the lens barrel from damage from the hood is untouched. Original packaging, caps and hood, naturally. Owner’s manual and blank warranty cards also. This is the best example that I’ve seen of what is arguably one of the best zoom lenses ever made. It took Sony almost 40 years and LOTS of 21st century computers to better the quality, and it sells for many times more $$ than these ever did. Leica even had Minolta make some for the Leicaflex in the 80’s & 90’s, so if it was good enough for Leica, well… I’m happy to answer any questions, thanks for looking! Stan
