Modern Russian Piano Music Volume I & 2 1915 First Edition complete

Description: THIS IS THE SOFTCOVER VERSION, PRINTED IN 1915. IT CONSISTS OF TWO VOLUMES. VOLUME 1 IS "AKIMENKO TO KORESTCHENKO" AND VOLUME 2 IS "LIADOFF TO WRANGELL". THERE ARE A NUMBER OF CORNER BENDS AND, WITHIN VOLUME 2, PAGES 73-84 WERE HEAVILY NOTATED IN PENCIL AND TORN AND REPAIRED; JUST THE SIX LEAVES IN THE RACHMANINOFF SECTION. (SEE PHOTOS) 1- The Rachmaninoff section in Volume 2 has one page that appears to have been torn out and taped back in decades ago. There is corner damage to two other leaves and heavy pencil markings on all six. (Photo 9-11) 2- There are corner bends in both volumes (Photo 12) and chips on the covers. Books have corner creases and corner bumps but are complete with no loose pages. 3- Other than the Rachmaninoff section, I found a few penciled x-marks in contents pages (Photo 8), a music store stamp on the end paper of both volumes and found no other markings, though there may be some. Some surface color chipping to the spine tape (Photo 6) 4- Small corner chip on rear cover of Volume 2 and a larger chip on rear of Volume 1 (Photo 7) THIS IS A RATHER RARE SET OF MUSIC. VOLUME 1 IS 183 PAGES AND VOLUME 2 IS 188 PAGES. Volumes are "good" only but remain fully functional.
