This Era IV set was produced for operation on the Märklin three rail A.C. system from 2004 to 2008. Prototype: Two calibration cars and one equipment car painted and lettered for the German Federal Railroad (DB). These cars are used together to test track scales. Model: The calibration cars have a 3-axle frame, roof hatches that can be opened. Each car has 8 each removable calibration weights. The cars come with different car numbers. The boxcar is painted and lettered as a maintenance car. Total length over the buffers 26.8 cm (10-9/16 inches). Please email if you would like additional information.
