Description: This is a rare prop S. S. (Schutzstaffel) patch from a uniform worn in the "SPRINGTIME FOR HITLER" musical, produced by Bialystock and Bloom. This was the musical within the new MEL BROOKS and THOMAS MEEHAN musical comedy "THE PRODUCERS" which played the St. James Theatre in New York City. (The production opened April 19th, 2001 and closed April 22nd, 2007 after 2502 performances.) .....
