Description: NATIVE WILDFLOWER SEEDS - Mauve Mallow (Abutilon hulseanum) FL ecotype 25ct Mauve mallow is very rarely grown in the nursery industry, and is apparently rare in most of it's natural range. Grow as an interesting specimen plant. It's pretty pinkish-red flowers, interesting fuzzy seedpods, and large leaves make this an interesting addition to the native garden. Little information exists about the cultivation of this plant, however one source recommends a sunny location in rich, organic soil. Average to moist, well-draining soil seems to be it's preference, especially during the heat of summer, as mine tended to wilt quickly if I wasn't diligent in watering. It's possible that a few species of skippers and hairstreaks may use Abutilon hulseanum as a host plant. Range: FL , LA , TX This listing is for one packet of 25 seeds (overpacked). This plant is native to FL, and Florida ecotype. All seeds ethically harvested from nursery stock or owner's properties.NURSERY REGISTRATION NO. 4802561 *NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
