Description: This vase is 8 3/4" tall, and made of Flint (leaded) Glass. It rings like a bell, and glows a ghostly light blue under the proper black light. This went into production in 1868, making it 155 yrs old. Leaded glass is soft and damages very easily, so whike this does have some fleabite sized nicks in the reeding, the overall condition is remarkably good. Fine ribbing like this always has some amount of small damage. I have noticed at least four very small flea bite sized chips in the reeding. These are not a visual distraction. However, if you are a demanding perfectionist (nothing wrong with that), pls pass this one by. No cracks, but possibley some surface scratches or kizzling.
