I have no idea what these files are for, but I did copy the name of the file off the file and measure them. Thirteen are Nicholson and one Disston Porter. The files I have may or may not be original to the set with the red roll tie pouch. Please view all pictures. You will get: (3) - Nicholson Taper Machette's. 7" long(1) - Nicholson 2 X-F. 8' long(1) - Nicholson Double Ex Slim. 9-1/2" long(1) - Nicholson 14 X-F. 7-3/4" long(1) - Nicholson Blunt Machette # 7. 10-1/2" long(1) - Nicholson Round 12-1/2" long(1) - Disston Porter. Smooth. 12- 1/2" long(1) - Nicholson Flat Bastard. 12" long(1) - Nicholson Mill Bastard. 10" long(1) - Nicholson Flat Bastard. 12-1/4" long(1) - Nicholson Bastard. 12-1/2" long(1) - Nicholson Slim Taper. 9" long Gramps did own a machine shop for a time and these files appear to be in pretty good shape and some are new with tags.
