Image quality improves somewhat as it is stopped down but in my experience it's not at all up to the caliber of sharpness the 50/1.8 lenses are known for. Glass looks good with no fungus or haze, there is no oil on the blades, and focus ring turns smoothly. No front cap but item will be packed carefully to protect front element. Sold as-is for parts or repair, no returns. Buyer pays actual shipping costs. I do not profit from shipping.
