Description: From the "vault" at Milano Sport in Greenwich, Ct. comes this virgin fully chrome plated steel track frame from Alberto Masi in Milan, Italy. Look carefully as this a modern frame built the correct way by a master track frame artisan. Lugs are Richard Sachs lugs which are a collaboration between Alberto Masi and Sachs as these lugs are for modern oversize steel tubes and are a copy of original Masi lugs. Tubing is Dedacciai 18MCDV6 which is Deda's lightest and strongest seamless tube set. Bottom bracket shell is by Walter of Milan and dropouts are Campy. The frame measure 58 cm. center to top as Masi would measure it or 56 cm. center to center. Top tube length is 56 cm. The frame was designed as an "omnium" track frame for U.S. tracks and is suitable for both sprint, mass start, points, and pursuit races. Not recommended for six day events on extra steep and short tracks like Ghent. The frame has never been mounted and has an Italian threaded bottom bracket, uses 27.2 seat post, and has a 120 mm. rear end. The fork column is threadless for use with current Ahead type stems and is uncut. Freight listed is for Continental USA; more elsewhere by quotation.
