Collated and compared to Hathi Trust and Harvard Library holdings/notes. 'Charles Elcock' to upper edge front cover. Pp. 86; 4to; frontis and seven plates including colour map of Clones Round Tower environs which is repeated as front cover; illustrations in text; seemingly remains unbound/loosely bound by Elcock. Includes a slip (presumably) by Elcock noting which towers were standing in his day. Some shelf wear and staining; minor worm damage to bottom rear. Also included a note book used for shorthand practice bearing Elcock's name, Belfast address and date, also a rather battered school-type exercise book filled with hand copied poetry, pensees etc also bearing a Belfast address albeit different from the above. An Interesting collection of works from the library of the 19th century naturalist, museum curator and microscope slide manufacturer. Please refer to pictures.
