Description: Description of item for sale: This beautifully detailed Gothic revival style rail is from France and dates to the very late 1800's or early 1900's. This was most likely a gate section from a longer communion or altar rail. It is made from very heavy solid oak finished to a beautiful medium oak color. The rail is in very good antique condition: straight and solid and with no woodworm or dry rot. Note the unfinished ends where they were fastened to walls or other sections. Dimensions: 26" tall, 50" wide, and 10.5" thick. (1645) Delivery/Shipping: We use several shipping services and service selection and delivery time will depend on your location.
