Description: A color NASA Apollo 13 Astronaut crew 10 x 8 photo. The photo was distributed after the crew arrived safely back on Earth after an engine explosion 200,000 miles out in space aborted the Moon landing and almost fatally killed the Apollo 13 Astronauts. The space craft was seriously damaged by the explosion and put the crew’s lives in jeopardy. Apollo 13 had to continue to and circle the Moon on the journey back to Earth. The back of the photo has NASA information about the Apollo 13 mission after the safe return of the crew. The NASA photo is in very nice mint or near mint condition.
