Description: ORIGINAL U.S. MILITARY ISSUE M-1 GARAND WINTER TRIGGER ADAPTER UNISSUED IN PACKAGING. This adapter was installed in the trigger guard of the U.S. M-1 service rifle enabling the user to fire the rifle while wearing gloves. I believe this adapter works only with the earlier style milled trigger guard with the hole behind the trigger. This adapter is in excellent unissued condition, still covered in the factory cosmoline. Also included is the original packaging titled "TRIGGER AUX-WINTER RIFLE CAL. 30 M1 M1C & M1D". The packaging shows wear & was torn open but remains in overall good displayable condition.
