Description: For sale is a 1947 Panama 1 Balboa. This a large silver coin with exactly the same weight and diameter as a Morgan silver dollar. It was minted by the U. S. Philadelphia mint for circulation in Panama. The Balboa is, along with the United States dollar, one of the official currencies of Panama. It is named in honor of the Spanish explorer/conquistador Vasco Núñez de Balboa. The coin for sale is blast white with very few contact marks. The first two photos are with direct lighting. The next two photos are with side lighting. Free shipping. I ship USPS First Class in a small box. It costs a dollar or two more, but the chance of damage is much less than in an envelop. Please feel free to ask any questions or make any comments.
