Patrick Quinn played the role of Lumiere as a replacement at the Palace Theatre in NYC. He first performed on Broadway in the 1976 revival of Fiddler On The Roof. He continued to perform on Broadway and tours in Oh Coward, Lend Me A Tenor, Damn Yankees, The Sound Of Music and A Class Act. He was also seen on TV in Bosom Buddies, Schoolhouse Rock, Remember WENN and Law And Order. In 1987 he helped to organize Equity Fights AIDS which later merged with Broadway Cares and was elected president of Equity in 2000. He died tragically in 2006 from a heart attack at the age of 56.
