Description: Here is another Phosphophyllite not from from the Unificada mine in Bolivia, but still in the Potosi area in Bolivia. Sure, not as spectacular as the ones from Cerro Rico/Unificada mine, but truth be told, they were and are extremely rare to come by, and fetch astronomical prices these day. Actually, when the locality in Huaylliani was discovered in the early 2010's, more Phosphophyllite became availible to the public, not as exquisite as the original find, but still nice apple green crystals and crystalline masses of what is a a very rare phosphate mineral. Here is a very interesting example, almost appears to be a cast, or vein fulling with coarse crystalline Phophophyllite. Cool specimen. This specimen is 11 grams, or 3/8 oz in weight.
