Description: This listing is for (5) Platymeris Biguttatus, white spotted assassin bug, nymphs. The nymphs will be of mixed size, but all will have had their first molt and eaten. Care for the nymphs is simple. 1. They will be able to remain in the container they are shipped in until closer to maturity. 2. No other supplies will be necessary for the duration they stay in the container provided. 3. A piece of egg crate will be in the container to allow the nymphs to hang upside down to molt. 4. No water source is required. All hydration comes from prey. 5. Feed live prey that is the same size as the body of the nymph twice per week. 6. After feeding remove waste and wipe the container clean. 7. Do not feed assassin bugs that are molting or have freshly molted. Wait until their exoskeleton has hardened or the next day. 8. Offer a variety of prey that is properly gut loaded. 9. Room temperature is fine but temperatures 70F to 80F are best for growth. 10. Humidity needs to be low to moderate with high ventilation. 11. Do not handle assassin bugs. They can sting/bite and people with allergies to insect sting may have adverse effects. 12. Do not let children around assassin bugs without adult supervision.
