Pokemon Gold Version (Read Desc. / New Battery / Nintendo Game Boy Color / 2000)

Description: For sale is an authentic copy of the game "Pokemon Gold" for the Nintendo Game Boy. The board itself is the American version of the game, but the plastic shell is from the Japanese version of the game. The game is authentic and in English. I just mixed and matched the American board with the Japanese plastic shell. The board had 1 broken trace on it and wouldn't work before, but I soldered a wire where it needs to go and now it works with no issues. I put some electrical tape over the wire after I took pictures so it wouldn't jiggle around. Also I had to cut a little bit of the plastic off of the top shell so the top shell could slide over the repair and the game could be closed.(see pictures) A new CR2032 battery has been soldered to the board and it should hold saves for years to come. The game has been tested for awhile and has no issues. The game is in good condition in my opinion with minor scratches and imperfections. The game will be shipped well protected. Look at all the pictures to judge the condition of the game for yourself. The Game Boy Advance shown isn't included and was just shown to show the game works. Ask questions if you have any.
