Gibson Pre War Style Bell Shaped Truss Rod Cover Black Plastic Celluloid True Reproduction 2-1/32″ Screw Hole Spacing from center to center just like the original truss rod covers on most Gibson guitars beginning in 1921 and running through about 1937. These years may vary and Gibson mixed these things all of the time, so please check if you aren't sure. These are also compatible with most Gibson style 75 Banjos made between about 1937 through about 1942 as well as most mandolins that were made between 1937 and the early 1940s. You should measure your instrument to insure compatibility. I recommend a dial caliper or a fine, small metal ruler for this as a common tape measure isn't very good for this type of fine measuring. The screw holes are of the proper 0.115″ diameter, so there is no reaming or alterations necessary. These truss rod covers are .035″ thick on average and do NOT have rounded or tapered edges like the molded ones that were available in the 1990s … these look and feel just like the real deal with squared sides!
