Description: Measuring about 4-1/2" x 7-1/4", and 410 pages long, this hardback German language book is "Briefe aus Muzot, 1921-1926" by Rainer Maria Rilke. Published in Leipzig, Germany, by Insel Verlag, it has matching copyright and publication dates of 1935, and, with no indication of a later printing, it is loosely presumed to be the First Edition. Found with it, and also included, is the photo of Muzot Castle in Switzerland, which is shown in the last two pictures. The handwritten caption on the back reads "Rilke's place, 'Muzot' near Sierre." The book is in mostly excellent condition, but it has an ink ownership inscription on the front free end paper and pencil numbers on both end papers. There is also a dark diagonal line on the front cover (to the right of the initials), which could be either a manufacturing anomaly or some kind of a stain, I'm not sure which.
