By James Murdock, D. D."; published by Robert Carter & Brothers, New York, 1879. Original hard cover binding. For the Bible collector: Please refer to Herbert 1886 and Hills 1477 footnote as points of reference. This Bible is in about good condition or so, especially when considering it's age. The pics tell the story on it's general condition. Some wear to the covers including some discoloration on the front cover, but it's sound. No writing outside of some pencil markings inside the front cover, there's also an old bookplate there, and a small stamped name on the title page. There's some paper splitting/tearing at the front hinge. No writing outside of a couple marks inside the back cover, no dog ears, bad smells, etc. I would ask you to see the pics to get a good idea of it's condition, as I am not a book grader, and you be the judge! It measures about 9-3/8" x 6-1/4" x 1-5/8". This would be a nice authentic addition to your library, or a great gift for the Bible collector in your life!
