Description: This is a rare Egyptian papyrus fragment from a manuscript. The fragment measures 40 x 80 mm and is unadorned on both sides. I purchased it from Helios Gallery on eBay in 2015 in a pack of 10. Previously it belonged to the collection of Charles Ede Ltd, ex British collection. It is dated to 664 - 332 BC. It is definitely an authentic piece from the Pharaonic period. Although the papyrus fragment is unadorned, it has a certain charm. You can frame it beautifully and place it on a shelf and enjoy owning a real piece of ancient Egyptian history. Please also take a look at my other offers.
