Description: Papier Mache Face Mask Handmade by Vermont Artist Robin Nuse Vintage This is an amazing papier mache face mask by the late Robin Nuse. The mask is signed on the inside Robin Nuse. Created in 1980s, the set is of one Black sheep and one White with pink and white accents. Foam pieces on the inside were added for comfort if someone were to wear this. Nuse masterfully created the mask and painted it in Black & White Cotton with glue has yellowed with age but still in good condition. The mask measures approximately 14.5 inches in length x 8.5 inches Height x about 6 inches in depth. The mask is in beautiful condition with no holes or tears. There are small side holes attached around back with a piece of elastic if someone wanted to wear this. Small hole at the very top with a little fishing wire for easy hanging. Nuse was a prominent painter and mask maker who died in 2019. In the late 1980s she had her own business called Vermont Masquerades designing and making paper mach animal and harlequin masks.
