Description: Rare, Crude, Very Early “GROBY ROAD” c.1870’s Cobalt Blue POISON Bottle (J645) Three panels of consecutive ribbing (vertical) with two adjacent panels, completely plain, and the third, in between the two plain panels, embossed POISON. Dug recently from the very early Groby Road, Leicester bottle dump. A very rare and early type poison bottle, made all the more appealing and desirable by the crudeness of it!! A bit dull in places, so could do with a good old clean! Ebay seem to be losing my second images, sometimes even the first! Everything should have a heads and tails if it’s a coin. If you see anything that looks like it’s missing an image or two, please let me know and I'll sort it. Thnx! Just to be clear, all my images are done on a not-very-good iPhone camera - in fact I list everything from start to finish on my phone. As such, the images will be basic and certainly not enhanced in any way (more like de-hanced on my phone!!). Post Office Posting Days: TUESDAYS and FRIDAYS Hi. If you need a length, width or height and I haven't already given it in this auction description, and the ruler is not clear due to angle of photography, please do message me before you buy and I will get back to you.
