Description: RARE Furby (Plush) 2001 McDonald's Happy Meal Toy ASIA JAPAN NEW & USED. These plush toys were the ASIAN series included in Happy Meals THROUGHOUT ASIA in 2001. If you're a Furby collector--you probably don't have these! Each plush ASIAN Furby came with a colorful SWIVEL clip to attach to your belt loop, backpack or other item. The clips spin at the base and were narrower (not tear-drop) when compared to their American cousins issued a year earlier (I included a side-by-side photo of the American and Asian version clips). Some 2001 Furbys also had vibrating and electronic versions. Pulling cloth tab tail on one Furby and he vibrates. The red Furby has a secret velcro compartment next to his tail. Electronic versions made sound and had metal tabs on feet I assume to communicate with each other--these used Furbys have dead batteries, so you'd have to replace to hear the sounds. Some came in similar color and patterns of the 2000 American versions, while others are totally different. Used are loose with play wear and some with light stains. Batteries are dead on Electronic Furbys. I have multiples of some toys so, the photo example may have slightly different wear.
