Description: This is the first of these "M.C. Lilley Co." makers marked service lapel pins I've seen in 30 years. That said, in the same time I've owned several of the very rare numbered versions. This specific makers mark was used from 1882 through 1924. It has some issues with the enamel as shown, but there are people who do enamel work, and this one because of its scarcity might make an excellent candidate for restoration.
