Description: The fine item you are considering a Rare Vintage Circa 1987 Fisher Procaliber Pro Caliber Mountain Bike MTB. This cool vintage Fisher “Procaliber” mountain bike has a seat tube that measures 17 ½” from the center crank to the center of the seat tube/top tube junction and 21 ½” center to center across the top tube. The bike is built from Tange Prestige tubing and from my research, it appears that it was made in Japan. The bike appears to be from 1987-88 as best as I can tell, and sports a rear “U” brake, Salsa roller stem, Shimano XT derailleurs and thumb shifters and Araya rims. The bike shows plenty of wear from riding, with an area on the seat tube showing two small “dimples”, dents or dings just above the front derailleur (see photos). The tires are in nice shape and tubes are holding air. There are two hoods that sit over the inner edge of the brake levers which are made of rubber and the rubber is sort of decomposing. I'll leave them on for originality's sake, but if you're going to ride the bike (and I hope you will) you will have to remove these. The seat is original, but it’s very worn and would likely need to be replaced. The bike is basically functional, but it will need a full tune-up.
