Description: Wiring Harness for Rickenbacker 4001S/4003S Basses Mono Output. I built this harness for those who own the new 4003S bass, 480 guitar, or the older 4001S, 4001V63, 4001C64, and 4001CS models with the single output jack. It's built using components from some of the same suppliers that Rickenbacker also uses, and optimized for use with the stock Hi-Gain, RIHS, or Toaster pickups. The tone caps are Sprague .047uF spec Orange Drops, while the pickup selector switch and output jack is made by Switchcraft. Unlike the factory harness, these pots are within 5% of rated spec, and matched in pairs to within 1% of each other. The tone pots are solid shaft 500K CTS, while the volume pots are the same with a 250K rating. It's all wired up with vintage style cloth insulated 22gauge wire. This harness is ideal for any Rickenbacker 4001/3 bass with single coil pickups and mono output jack. I also have vintage style knobs at $12.00 a set to go with this harness.
