Description: For sale is an incredible roll of 20 Kennedy 1964-D Silver Half Dollars--all in gorgeous MS uncirculated condition. The Kennedy Half was minted abruptly in 1964 right after the sudden death of President Kennedy. Kennedy Halves are still minted today, but only for collectors' sets, not for general circulation -- and haven't been since 2001. The 1964 is unique in that is it is the only year Kennedy Halves minted for circulation was 90% silver. Then in 1965 they switched mintage to 40% silver, also called "silver clad." They minted silver clad Kennedys from 1965 to 1970, and then after 1970 til they today they are not silver at all. This lot totals nearly 7.25 ounces of pure silver! As you can see from the pics all the coins are in amazing condition. They all have their original mint shine, luster, and details. None have any major toning to them and none have been cleaned. I do have multiple rolls available in the exact same condition and grade if you were interested in buying more than one. I always give discounts for multiple quantities and always combine shipping. For those collecting Kennedy halves, or anyone investing in silver, this is a must-have set of coins. Thanks!
