Description: Rosenthal Purple Iris Water Lilies Pink Rose & Gold Large Bowl Circa 1891 - 1906 Antique German large porcelain bowl. Nicely decorated with a scene of a pond with water lilies and a purple iris. The scene is bordered by a ring of fancy gold gilt floral scrollwork. The edge of the bowl is decorated with pink roses and clouded gold gilding. Marked on the reverse in green with a crown over R. & C. Iris Bavaria. This mark was used by Rosenthal between 1891 and 1906. Some wear to the gilding and some usage wear to the center, and a scratch through the flower,but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 10 1/8 inches wide x 2 3/8 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defect that do not affect the display of the piece. KT BX
