Description: This hard to find limited edition bust was manufactured by Royal Doulton of England. The bust was made to commemorate the Investiture of HRH Prince Charles (King Charles III) in 1969. This particular model is unmarked but I have an identical one in my collection that shows the commemoration around the base with a limited edition number inside the base. Not sure how many were issued but my model in numbered #106. Possibly a factory prototype ?. There is a small 'x' mark inside the base. The bust comes in a black basalt porcelain with a matt finish. It measures 11-1/4" tall " x 6-3/4" wide x 4-1/2" in dia. at the base. It comes in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. It does not come with its original box.
