Specifically, it is an alloy consisting of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper. This mixture of metals has led to the mark “.925” which is used by most manufacturers, including Covenant, to designate the purity of their silver products. After polishing, the rings are electroplated with a layer of precious rhodium, which gives them the look of white gold or platinum, and eliminates tarnishing.
