Savinelli De Luxe Milano 614 (UNSMOKED!) Full Bent Billiard Vintage Pipe w/ Sock

Description: I love Savinelli. They always smoke excellently for me and more and more of my rotation is Savinelli. The older, no longer produced models are a lot of fun to collect as well. The De Luxe Milano was made in the 1960’s and early 1970’s and no longer produced of course. I like the gold line insert on the stem to denote the line. It won’t wear off quickly like the S shield printed on stems on most modern Savinelli. It won’t buff or wear off over time when polishing up your ebonite stem. The nomenclature stamping is very nice as is the quality of the pipe of course. This is the first unsmoked De Luxe Milano I’ve had. It’s in one of my favorite shapes as well. The 614 is a full bent pipe that is one of the most comfortable pipes to smoke. It feels so light designed as it is when smoking hands-free. Perfect to smoke while on your device or yard work etc. The wide stem also helps a lot spreading the weight out and adding stability when clenching. This particular 614 is in completely mint condition and has some beautiful sandblast grain! See the photos for that. The stem has been carefully polished to remove oxidation occurring over the decades. I applied obsidian stem oil as well a couple times during the process and just prior to sealing it with fresh Carnauba wax. The oil also has a UV block which slows down future oxidation from light exposure. The stem is a deep and shiny black and fits firmly into the mortise. The pipe comes with its original sock in black with gold lettering and stitching. It’s been cleaned of any old wax and gently buffed with very fine white Diamond followed by a couple coats of fresh carnauba wax to protect it and give it a nice shine. I hand buffed the pipe after with a soft microfiber cloth. I don’t see this shape in the old pipes almost ever and I really planned to keep it for my own use but I already have 2 of this shape in my rotation and it’s unsmoked so I wanted to pass it on to someone else to enjoy. - P Dimensions and Weight are down below. - You get what you pay for.
